3 More Ways to Wear a Hair Fork -- For Long Hair

Hair forks are two-pronged hair sticks which can be very decorative and can hold up complicated buns for an entire day! I've made a bunch in the past week (five of which are pictured above) and during this time I've experimented with different ways of wearing the hair forks.

To learn how to do 5 different hairdos using the basic twist bun, please visit my blog post from earlier this week.

The following 3 hairdos are designed for those with longer hair-- at least shoulder bone length, I'd say. These styles are slightly more complex but still very easy to do. I recommend that those with long hair use large size hair forks-- 3 to 5 inch prongs. If you have especially thick hair, try a hair fork with wide prongs.

You can find all the hair forks I currently have in stock here, or send me an email at shealynnsfaerieshoppe {at} gmail.com for a custom piece.

LAZY WRAP BUN

1. Start by gathering your hair as if you were going to make a ponytail. Wherever you hold your hand is where the bun will be situated. This bun can be worn high or it can be worn as a chignon.

2. Fold (don't twist) the hair up around the front of your non-dominant hand.

3. The next step is complex to explain, and I recommend you watch the video. Basically, after you have the hair folded around your hand, you take the remaining tail and coil it under your palm, around the "ponytail" part of the bun.

4. Here's a shot from the side to illustrate.

5. Insert the hair fork by sliding it along your fingers, through the big loop you made with the hair folded around your hand.

6. Finish inserting the hair stick. As always, the movement is not "push." You need to weave the fork by going back and forth, then wiggling up and down through the middle of the bun. Again, watching the video will be helpful.

FIGURE 8 BUN, AKA "INFINITY BUN"

1. Begin as if you were making an ordinary twist bun. Hold your hair as if you were making a ponytail, and twist the tail.

2. Instead of coiling around each previous coil, coil under the previous coils.

4. Take the top coil and lift it up so that it separates from the bottom coil. Hold it up against your head.

5. Just another picture showing this process.

6. Secure with a hair fork!

Since the lighting in my video wasn't the best, here's a better picture of a figure 8 bun. The picture is from "Lady Long Locks" and was found here.

___________

TWIN TWIST BUN

Although this takes the longest to do (about one minute after you get some practice), I like it the most because it both looks fancy and feels incredibly secure.

1. Make a half updo twist bun and temporarily secure it.

2. Make another twist bun directly below it.

3. Don't use all the hair for the second twist bun. Instead, take the very end of the tail and coil it up around Bun #1 then back down around Bun #2. Watch the video if that didn't make sense. :)

4. Secure with a hair fork.

5. When securing with the hair fork, be sure that you weave through BOTH buns in an up-and-down motion, or else the hold will not be secure.

I especially love wearing hair forks inserted from the bottom. I don't know why but it feels a little more modern-elegant.

_______

P.S. Can I just say, making video tutorials can lead to some really bizzare screencaps...

Anyway, if you do any of these hairstyles or come up with any other hairdos with my hair forks (or forks of your own), let me know in the comments or via email or facebook, etc! :)

How to Wear a Hair Fork (Part 1)

Last week, a friend of mine came over after work to go hiking at our house. Before we changed into workout clothes, I insisted she come into my studio and model for me "real quick."
I had just made a hair fork-- a decorative two-prong hair stick made out of copper-- and snagged a couple of pictures before we headed out. The next day, I shared the pictures on Tumblr and Facebook and uploaded it to my Etsy shoppe, and was greatly surprised by the response!

Over the past week I've made several more hair forks, all of which can be seen on my Etsy shop, or (if they sell), in my gallery of old items on Facebook.

I've come up with seven different hair styles using my hair forks! Below are five of them, along with video and picture tutorials. Tomorrow I'll post the final two!

When using a hair fork, remember that you weave them into your hair the same way that you weave in a hair stick or a hair fork: push backwards on the bun, switch to font, and then wiggle it up to the middle of the bun then switch to wiggle it down by your scalp. (If that made no sense, watch the first video!).

If you use a hair fork (whether mine or one you already have) and do these hairstyles or come up with another, feel free to share pictures in the comments or by emailing me! I might do a little gallery of the pictures! :)

(P.S. Scroll to the bottom for free shipping on any hair forks through 6.20.14!)

The Twist Bun is the easiest hairstyle to do!

I started with an accent braid on the side, but you can do the bun without any braids at all, of course!

1. Hold your hair as if you were going to make a ponytail.

2. Twist your hair tightly.

3. Coil your hair around and tuck the ends under.

4. Push in the hair fork. Insert in the bun and push it out.

5. Weave the hair fork the other way and push it through the bun.

6. Ta-da! A finished twist braid! It will stay in all day!

Braided Twist Bun

1. Make a low braid at the nape of your neck.

2. Coil like a twist bun and insert your hair fork.

3. Enjoy your deceptively fancy-looking bun!
________________________________

Braided Twist Bun Variation: Side Braid

1. (Optional). Part your hair on the side. Starting at the part, twist your hair up in sections. The twist should wrap around the back of your head.

2. Make a side braid. In this case, I did a rope braid.

3. Coil the braid into a twist bun right by your ear.

4. Insert the hair stick! :)

Half-up Hairstyle

Honestly this one doesn't need much of a tutorial. Just separate the top half of your hair and make a basic twist bun!
________________________________

Half-up Hairstyle Variation

1. This was made up on the spot, so it's a bit different. Start with a half-up twist bun. Braid the bottom part of your hair, at the nape of your neck OR at the side of the nape of your neck like I did.

2. Wrap the braid around the original bun.

3. Insert another hair fork, or secure the braid with a bobby pin.

Ramtha Intensive: Soulmates

A publisher note explains that Ramtha held more than 300 public audiences between 1978 and 1987.  Two 1987 Ramtha Intensive books present transcripts of seminars supplemented with related materials from other lectures: Soulmates and Change: The Days to Come.  The primary Intensive lectures featured in these books were presented in 1986.

In Voyage to the New World, Ramtha occasionally informed students that he was going to manifest their fears.  He can be found to have accomplished this in a perhaps unexpectedly literal way within the transcripts of his commentary found in the two Intensive books.  An implicit lesson is that masters must always discriminate about what is taught and never accept an opinion solely on the basis of a teacher's renown.  Some of the remarks in the Intensives blatantly contradict statements made by Ramtha at other times.  Ramtha said during the "Soulmates" intensive: "Words can never captivate emotion; they struggle to express it."

The "Soulmates" Intensive occurred the weekend of January 10-12, 1986 in a hotel ballroom in Seattle, Washington with approximately 250 people attending.  The first printing of Ramtha Intensive: Soulmates was in July 1987 with some revisions in the transcript of a revised edition published in September the same year.  My source for this article is the revised edition.

After his customary toast with a glass of water while announcing, "'Tis the beginning of the dissolution of limited thought . . .," Ramtha's introduction offered a clue of the unexpected challenges to come: "I am the outrageous Ramtha!"  He informed his audience that these teachings were "endeavoring, through wondrous ways, to break down the barriers of your belief systems so that you allow a movement of power to awaken within you."

Ramtha informed the audience: "Oh, I have changed my speech because I found that few understood 'Indeed, so-be-it, as-it-were-indeed, as-it-is-now-seen' . . . I learned to speak your lingo, and I'm rather good at it."  He explained that he kept telling the same thing to those who returned to his lectures: "Because they weren't getting the simple message.  They were hearing it, but they weren't becoming it."

He continued: "So I continued to manifest for them.  I sent them here and there, and I made wondrous things happen in their lives.  Yet all they wanted was more — not more of what they could do, but of what I could do for them!"

He said wryly —

Why do I teach about God, a subject that no one really cares about?  (Jokingly imitates audience)  "Let's get on with hopping in the sack with my soulmate!"  (audience laughs.)  You see, your thoughts and your fantasies are all known.  You may dress up and look prim and proper, but I see how you think.

People in the ascended state have access to information through the omnipresent Christ Consciousness.  Presumably the process is similar to how clairvoyant and clairaudient mediums function with extrasensory perception on our Earth plane.  It is a traditional religious belief that God the Father knows all; however, a master need not worry that every minute aspect of one's life will be accessible to others.  When I attended a Ramtha lecture in Hollywood in 2006 and saw Ramtha visually scan the audience for several minutes, I had not previously read about this aspect of his interaction with people.  Person by person, Ramtha was evidently presented with psychic information.  Ramtha seemed to pause when he stared in my direction or did it just seem that way?

During his "Soulmates" Intensive two decades earlier, Ramtha stated: "Well, in the spiritual science of soulmates, there is great knowledge awaiting those who are ready to go on, who are ready to wake up from the dream they have been dreaming."  He proceeded to describe an array of philosophical perspectives of soulmate potentialities.

Ramtha usually spoke in the first person yet occasionally there was a perspective change to the third person.  It is only necessary to give a few examples of how Ramtha manifested human fears about the influence of unseen powers in our lives.

There are those who have lost fortunes, just to bring them to an understanding.  There are those who have gained everything, just to prove that they could do it.  It doesn't matter!  I will do whatever is necessary.  And my runners are such a motley lot that when the command is given they go and do their bidding.

. . . because you are hung up with so many illusions.  So I will send the runners, and we will do what is called a housecleaning.  When you are not honorable I will send back your dishonor one hundredfold!

Well, I have seen you gang up on others, I have seen you create a truth, called gossip.  I have seen you, through that truth, take away the beauty and the joy of another.  I am sending back your condemnations, one hundredfold, so that you experience what you have placed upon another.

Having made statements about people being judgmental, he in turn without any explanation was noticeably offering examples of how an 'ascended master' would sound when manifesting judgmental behavior in accordance with human fears about metaphysical possibilities.

Ramtha recited "a very short synopsis of the eternal mystery of how it all began" to remind the audience of the forgotten evolution of humanity.

When the Is contemplated itself and gave birth to Movement, birth to Light, that was when all of the gods were born.  Each of you became a light particulum, whole, a god.  And the gods, immediately endowed with souls, created from their thought processes.

Your soul is like a computer.  It holds and stores thought.  Without your soul you would know no thing, you could express no thing, you could create no thing, you would be no thing, except Is.  The soul records every thought you've ever had.

Gods created the first livable planet in your solar system.  It was called Melina, and it was the first planet birthed from your sun.  It was created from light giving birth to mass, a natural process.  There the gods played, creating light forms.  (At this point, you, the gods, are each still one god, undivided.  So, you are without gender, as it were.)  When, through their competitive spirit, the gods destroyed Melina (remnants of it now circle Saturn), many of them went to the far reaches of your universe, where they still are this day in your time.  Others went to the planet that is in line with your Earth but on the other side of the sun, a planet which your scientists will discover before the end of this century.  So there is another planet out there that you didn't know you had.

I was left wondering whether or not scientists could be honest about such a discovery at the present time when secrecy seems to be an institutionalized aspect of bureaucracies.  A ridiculous excuse for cover-ups is not wanting to upset the 'status quo,' considering the sad economic and environmental conditions of world societies.

Ramtha proposed that human understanding can be obscured by spiritual dogma.  He defined a dogma as "a created truth without the substance of reality."

Ramtha encouraged a consideration of "union of self' to redefine how one might consider the expression 'soulmate.'

Each of you has another "you."  The other is not higher or lower; it is simply the other.  In an unlimited form it is called "I Am."  Did you know that "I Am" is the All-in-All, without walls, boundaries and appendages?  Did you know that "I Am" is the declaration of the unity of self, forever and ever and ever?  That describes you — and the other "you" that you are.

A central teaching of Guy Warren Ballard and his wife Edna's "I AM" activity introduced in the 1930s is that the 'I AM Presence' is a law of life signifying "God in Action."  A series of books chronicling the case encompasses twenty volumes that offer an extensive collection of channeled discourses by beings who referred to themselves as 'ascended masters.'

During his "Soulmates" lectures, Ramtha commented about the potentialities of fanaticism with his or any teachings.

Fanatics soon become even more limited in their truth.  And so angry and frustrated and unhappy are they, that they soon set themselves above the rest of the world.   They would even go to the depths of slaying the rest of the world to prove their point, their truth!  Woe unto you if you take what I say out of context and become fanatical with it, for I will send to you that limited truth one thousandfold, until you say, "Enough!  What were the other things he said?"  Bargain?

All I have ever said, and all the words I have ever formulated and issued forth, have all been for one great understanding: You are God.

The reader might consider Ramtha a fanatic himself in relation to his often emphasized statement "You are God" as it is obvious that from an individual perspective each person is only one unit or iota among the Source's innumerable egos; yet both of these awarenesses are essential to making beneficial decisions in the course of one's daily life.

Ramtha warned about fanatical aspects of the quest for soulmates, sometimes incorporating metaphorical expressions.

If you throw away what you have gained up to this present time to go and find a soulmate, you are headed for the pits of fire, I assure you, because you are not going forward; you are reacting backwards.

Ramtha once again offered his perspectives of God and morality.

Did you know that if the Father, which is the All-in-All, had judged you for the least-little-cruddy thing you had done, you wouldn't exist in the next moment, and neither would life.

When you get rid of right and wrong, you get rid of every dogma that was ever created, and you find God in the process.

You're not going to learn to stop judging by someone telling you to do so. You are going to learn by becoming what you judge in another.  So be it!

You know, in heaven there's a very elitist staff.  Only the goodie goodies go to heaven.  But, masters, never desire heaven; desire knowledge.  Knowledge creates that consciousness.

Ramtha was equally severe with women and men on the topic of soulmates.

All of you women want your soulmates, eh?  You want the perfect lover, someone who can see you fat and ugly and still love you, someone to take care of you, to be there, to provide for you, to give you freedom.  Well, I have something to tell you.  There is no man on this plane at this hour who has reached godhood or knighthood to be that brave, that noble, that powerful and that unconditionally loving.   They're in the same boat that you are, because they're looking for someone, just like you are — except you're not filling their bill any more than they are filling yours.

You don't know there is more to life than simply bedding down with another entity.

Now, I love you, but you are still wanting someone outside of you to fill up something you don't own inside.

What are you going to do when you become impotent?

You are also filled with holes because you don't love what you are.

On the second day of the Intensive, Saturday, Ramtha's continued to occasionally manifest a judgmental mentality.  Some similar commentary is documented intermittently within the Ballards' sixth book of the Saint Germain Series, Ascended Master Discourses, Volume VI (1937), an anthology of 1937 discourse transcripts.  The Foreword by Godfré Ray King (Guy Warren Ballard's pen name) reminded that the discourses were "dictated in Words of Living Light" to him before thousands of "I AM" Students.

The transcript of the "Soulmates" Intensive notes a symbolic moment.

(Tugs several times at a rose in the floral arrangement and finally yanks it free)   I don't give up!  (Audience laughs and applauds.)

Ramtha manifested human fears about life's uncertainties, God, potential upheavals of society and nature, and human sexuality.

Everything that you are in this dream, you are because you wanted to be that way.  Did you know that?  Whether you are rich or poor, king or beggar, whether you are married, unmarried, seeking, secure, insecure, frustrated, you made it that way.

Know you that there is no such thing as a victim?  Harsh teaching.  But when good and bad are done away with, when life is seen as a continuum, an ongoing process, then there is no such thing as a victim; there is only life.

I said unto this audience, "Go and prepare for yourselves a two-year supply of food.  Two years."  I said unto them that the shadows of Superconsciousness and the graveness of social consciousness were coming — and they took it out of context and became fanatics!  They immediately took it as a dogma rather than the natural thing to do, and they thought that anyone who didn't do likewise was foolhardy.  They wanted to see an end come to social consciousness, but they had chosen parts of the teaching to see only one way for it to happen.  And yet there are many ways.

The diseases that I spoke about long ago are now here.  No one knew what I was talking about when I said they would happen.  But they are Nature getting rid of those who do not add to the patterns of evolution.

Simply know that you are going into a winter, and be prepared for it.  But also know that spring will soon follow.

You are afraid to change.  So what I am going to do is, I'm going to manifest for you every boredom in your life until you are in manic depression.

Now, I will also manifest all of your fears.  I will manifest them because they are dark things.  Now "darkness" does not equate evil; dark means that they are hidden from the light.

The transcript records that "The audience sits in stunned silence" following the declarations "Now, you women!  You love/hate your men.  You, master it!  Men, you love/hate your women.  Master it!"

Here is some of Ramtha's other advice from the Soulmates Intensive —

Can you say "no" and walk away, and not care what others think?  Know you the weed?  How many of you can pass up a joint?  You say, "It's not very strong.  It's the thing to do."  But did you know that you are killing your brain?"

Did
you know that it takes a polarity to have war?  There is no war if one accuses you of being wrong and you allow them their accusation, because there is no re-action.  Walk away and allow.  That is being a master.

The "new age" is already here.  It is the age of consumption of knowledge — not the pursuit of, but the allowing of.  And in that age there is no room for limited beliefs.

At one point, Ramtha said: "Do you hear me?  Do you feel me?  I'll test you!  So be it!"

On the third day of the Intensive, Sunday, Ramtha addressed the prophesied "second coming of Christ" and Ramtha's perspective is consistent with commentary found in the transcripts of the channeled readings of Edgar Cayce, the topic of the previous articles "The Second Coming" and "Explaining The Second Coming".

Well, it is a true prophecy.  But it is not the return of Yeshua ben Joseph.  The return of christ is when the christ is realized in all peoples.  It is the power within you waking up.

The second coming of christ is certain upon this plane.  Few know it, because most are still entrapped in their dogmas and their little boxes of social consciousness.

Here are some of Ramtha's concluding comments —

To be here with you I have come from a grand space that is right where you are but which is "beyond beyond."  The space I come from is called love.  Not even death nor dimensions can separate you from it.  It is the great immortal fabric that weaves life.

You have watched and listened and learned from this little body that belongs to one of your own kind.  It had been wonderful this way because it has allowed you, with your mind of idealistic form, to look upon me without fear and hear the message.  If it had been any other way most of you would not have listened, because you are terrified of that which is beyond the seen.

To come to you this way is a miracle of sorts, a wonderment . . . .

A Beginner's Guide to Creating Reality

First Edition Cover (1997)

The Ramtha book A Beginner's Guide to Creating Reality (Third Edition 2004) is presented as "An Introduction to Ramtha and His Teachings."  The phenomenon known as channeling is how Ramtha communicates his teachings through JZ Knight and the case may be categorized among the annals of unexplained phenomena as an example of an 'ascended master.'  JZ explained:

The following book is based on the concept of an ancient mystery school brought into the close of the twentieth century, an age which wallows in alarming materialism where neither the church, imprisoned by its own dogma and political intrigues, nor science, locked within the confines of matter, knows how to make individuals whole.  Science need not change its methods, only broaden its scope; and religion need not change its traditions but rather remember its origins: the Spirit and its primal significance.  The restoration of the link between the visible and the invisible for the useful application of the omnipotent in our everyday lives becomes the new conscious bridge to traverse the abyss that separates heaven from earth.

Jaime F. Leal Anaya commented in an Introductory Essay:

The uncommon form is which Ramtha delivers his teachings is by no means arbitrary and superficial.  He has pointed out explicitly the reasons behind such a format and explained that in order to grasp his message, it is important to become aware of the paradigms of thought, the roots of preconceived ideas, unconscious prejudices, and molds in which we normally perceive and evaluate reality.

 Jaime observed:

Ramtha in presenting his philosophy as the fruit of his own truth and personal experience makes the point that he himself is the embodiment of the philosophy, the living representation and manifestation of his thought.

The teachings of Ramtha have an explicit and an implicit aspect.  His teachings are like the creation of an artist that contains both a specific message from the artist and a more general message that speaks about the artist. Since Ramtha teaches from personal experience and not from intellectual speculation, as we explained earlier, Ramtha is his teachings.  To have an insight into the person of Ramtha is to have an insight into his teachings.

Chapter One presents "Ramtha's Autobiography," a compilation of statements from Ramtha dialogues of 1984.  Ramtha told about growing up in absolute poverty as a brown skinned Lemurian under the domination of red skinned Atlatian tyrants 35,000 years ago.  He witnessed the death of his mother soon after she gave birth to a daughter, who also perished from malnutrition.

A variety of spiritual metaphors, symbols and allusions are noticeable in the following excerpt.  The passage is preceded by Ramtha remembering his hatred for the Atlatians and confessing his spiritual confusion about his circumstances in life.  The passage culminates with the beginning of that which Ramtha termed his 'great march' that lasted for sixty-three years as he became "the first conqueror this plane ever knew."

So I found a great mountain that loomed in the distance, a very mysterious place, for if I could climb there I would get in touch with the Unknown God out here and proclaim my hatred for him at his unfairness.  So I began my journey.

I run from that of my hovel and there be a great mountain in a distance I barely see.  And my journey, as it were indeed, hath been of ninety days — of ninety days, as it were indeed, of devouring locusts and roots and urnments of ants — did I find this mountain, for if there be a God, he would live there above all of us, as those who governed our land lived above us.  And, lo, I sought him out, yet he was not there, except for the great cold.  And I wept heartily until the whiteness, as it were indeed, iced itself from my tears.  "I am a man. Why hath I not the dignity of one?"

And, behold, there came unto me a sweet maiden as you have not seen, whose gilded hairs, as it were indeed, danced about her.  And the crown that be upon her hair was not of lilies or of rosebuds or of irises but an unknown flower.  And of her drapery, indeed her gowns were translucent and mellow and free.  Behold, she came unto me and, behold, she gave unto me a great sword.  It sang.  It sang.  Yet it took nigh, as it were indeed, nine hands to hold its handle it was so great.  And she gave it unto me.

This is what she said.  "O Ram, O Ram, I beseech you who have learned — and woken of Spirit of the pity of our beings — the truth.  There must be a truth that lingers in the land.  Thus your prayers have been heard.  And you are a man of means and conviction.  Take you this sword and wear it well."  And she was gone with herself.  And I was blinded in my madness and my illusions in what I had seen.  And no longer have I shivered against the great cold, but I found warmth there.  And thus when I looked again where my tears had iced themselves, there grew a flower of such sweet refrain and color that I knew the flower, as it were indeed, would be that of what is termed hope.

The sword Crosham, the Winged Carrier, it was the Isness formulated itself into an apparition of the most beautiful sort, that gave me a sword and told me, "Go and conquer yourself."  And the rest is history, so to speak.  There is no entity that is in that which is termed a singular form that exists that gave me that sword.  It is the harmony of the Isness that produced the Winged Carrier.

I came down from the mount with my great sword to the hovel of my mother, who had perished.  Who was the suckling upon my mother's breast?  It was you, for you are of my kingdom and my house and my dream.  And you, as it were indeed, were saved, as it were, by the famine, for they opened their doors when I entered therein, and no longer weak of bodily movement or frail, that I was a Ram in all the sense of the word.

For that which is termed the rest of the story, there are a lot of you that know it well.  But what drove me to conquer and to master, which was a part of my soul emotion, was the desire to make it even.  I created war, indeed, for there were no warring factions against the arrogance of the Atlatians, none.  I created it.  I came from the great mountain, intimidated by the Unknown God, given a sword, and told then to conquer myself.  I could not turn the blade around and hack my head off; it was too long.  My arms would not reach, as it were indeed, to that which is called the stifle [hilt] of the sword.  But I wept a great deal.  But I got honor in my sword, and when I returned I laid siege to Onai.

Part  II of the book presents "Fundamental Concepts of Ramtha's Teachings."  The source of these seven chapters is Ramtha Dialogues of 1996.  Chapter Two "Consciousness and Energy Create the Nature of Reality" includes commentary by Ramtha about his life that has relevance to social conditions throughout the ages.

. . . my most ignorant point was that I hated the Unknown God of my people.  You see, my people didn't worship Gods.  They knew there was but one God and it was nameless and it was faceless, save that it could be seen in everything that existed and everything that it thought exists.  I felt that this God had failed my people miserably and wretchedly.  I didn't understand.

. . . the Unknown God of my people, which was all life, let them fall into servitude of a much more powerful race, and I hated the God.  So I sought out to slay it in every person, because it needed to be conquered because it had conquered my poor, wretched family.  That was my most ignorant point of my life, that God could be conquered and that because one loved God, that kept him safe from harm, enslavement, servitude.

I didn't know that the Unknown God resided in all my peoples and all other peoples and that the nature of itself was that it gave.  God is love.

Ramtha identified his teachings as philosophy and not truth.

Truth is relative.  Only what you know as truth is truth.  If you don't know anything else, it is not the truth.  If someone tells you that there is a twenty-third universe besides this one, they may be telling you from scientific observation.  It is their truth, but is it yours?  It is not your truth.  It is a philosophy, like most things in your life.  You know why it is not the truth?  Because you haven't experienced the twenty-third universe, and only until you experience the twenty-third universe is it a truth.

In the third chapter "Origins of the Self," Ramtha is quoted:

The teaching that I am going to give you today may be filled with that which is termed verbiage contradiction.  However, there is a level of understanding that transcends words, so words become that which is termed a cripple's tool in order to explain that desire that cannot be expressed.

Ramtha's description of 'The Void' reminds me of the perspective derived from Eastern spiritual wisdom scriptures suggesting God to be an Energy Source.  The Void was explained to have "contemplated itself": "So it turned all of itself in on itself . . . And the moment it did that and came back, it was two instead of one . . . between these two points we also have a new reality, and the reality is called time . . . We have time, distance and space that is offset by another consciousness . . . This is the God and this is the mirror consciousness of God . . . So now we have life happening . . . So now we have a ladder being built, and we have this mirror consciousness here always reflecting to the God consciousness here.  And what exists between the two are called potentials of life . . . Now when you were born . . . Point Zero . . . when your God created you . . . and you began the journey through contemplation coming down . . . When we were in descent, all of us, we called that the Book of Involution . . . Where you are sitting, there is an extraordinary level of intelligence sitting with you."

Ramtha's cosmology encompasses seven planes of existence with information presented such as: "all orbiting orbs [planets] are hollow" and with the first human incarnations there were small brains that "operated in infrared, which is called the psychic realm."  Humanity evolved: "These entities came along, took you  and comingled their seed with yours, so they bred into your body their experiences . . . They are Gods from the same Source, who are ahead of you in evolution."

He also mentioned:

There are civilizations and entities on other planets, in other galaxies, in other dimensions, in other time-flows that are much more advanced than you are.

Previous blog articles about other cases usually categorized as involving 'paranormal phenomena' correlate with some of Ramtha's statements.

Ramtha advised:

You have yet to develop your spiritual self that it can operate this body as a fine-tuned instrument of God.

In this life and why you came here to learn was "How do I live to the greatest of my spiritual potential, thereby using my body to its greatest potential?"

At this time the reason that you are unhappy with your life is because you are at the end of your ability to dream reality.  You let everything do it for you.

Although the meaning is often clear upon considering Ramtha's statements, some of the noticeable 'verbiage contradictions' found in this book (in relation to my own spiritual orientation) would seem to include:

I want you to worship you.

You can never, ever manifest in your life that which you do not accept. You only manifest what you accept.

. . . you create your reality.  And if you are a victim, it is because you made it that way.

And nothing is good and bad as seen in the light of all eternity.

God is incapable of judgment.  God is incapable of judging you, hating you, condemning you.  There is only allowing.

God only knows what you know.

When analyzing cases of so-called  'psychic' or 'unexplained phenomena' that have been as extensively documented as this case, it is the noticeable contradictions that will offer a reader the chance to postulate observations and potential conclusions about the significance of these circumstances.

Ramtha's perspective of God in A Beginner's Guide to Creating Reality offers some moral awareness: "God is love . . . And the way you love you is to give to you freedom, peace, and when you take that and give it to yourself, you then usher it to other people.  Give to them.  Give to them . . . Don't take.  Don't take . . . If you are a giver, you embody the divine power within you because there is no end to the resource."

Keeping many of Ramtha's own statements in mind, one may well wonder how could there even exist the concept of right and wrong if there was nothing to be gained by being able to distinguish between these understandings and this wasn't consequential to the Mind of God?

Ramtha's commentary in the book encompasses the human auric field, quantum mechanics, the body's seven centers or 'seven seals,' kundalini energy, and thought processes.  Ramtha explained: " . . . all life is made up of condensed consciousness and energy in the form of particles . . . Every tree, every insect, every grain of sand came from a superior intelligence."

JZ Knight in her autobiography revealed that Ramtha had conveyed to her that in fighting against tyranny he had become a barbarian, conqueror and tyrant during his Earth life.  If one attempts to place into context the appearance of Ramtha at this time in the course of human civilization, one may realize that this predicament offers insights to the lives of people even today.  Instead of a Jesus or Buddha, Ramtha's contemporary manifestation through JZ Knight offers a perhaps surprising example of God's forgiveness, showing the accessibility of paradise through spiritual understanding.  The battlefield killer in perceiving the ignominy of his path devotes himself to fostering benevolence for the peace and joy of all.  The biblical Jesus also instructed: "Sin no more."

Economic and political hierarchies are identified by Ramtha as resulting with "pitifully impoverished" knowledge:

So how about the people who have an agenda about keeping a government together, is it to their advantage to do away with superstition and dogma?  It is not to their advantage.  It divides and conquers the people, and they are the people who keep them in control.  Now this teaching is not secular.  This teaching is about a brain, a spiritual body, and levels of development.  The teaching says to you, very blatantly today, you have in you everything you need to change your life.  Now is there here someone here, including me, going to make you change?  No.  You are forgotten Gods.  You may be forgotten but you are still Gods.  And the only entities that have forgotten that that is a truth is you.

I have read only a few vague comments about life in the ascended realm for the entity known as 'Ramtha the Enlightened One.'  This is a subject I hope to learn more about as new information about Ramtha becomes available.  One also realizes that a portion of Ramtha's life continues to be the Earth sojourns when he is embodied by JZ Knight and presenting his teachings.  Previous articles at this blog about other channeling cases allow comparisons to be made.

One of the many intriguing statements found in A Beginner's Guide to Creating Reality is in relation to Ramtha's life 35,000 years ago and his present teaching:

. . . I came here to talk to people that I once knew in a time that seems far remote from this time, and yet that time and this time are happening at the same moment.
